Love is Touch

Music invokes so many emotions thoughts and feelings. For others it can take on color and shape. This piece that I have sculpted is influenced by John Lennon's "Love".
Love is touch, touch is love,
Love is reaching, reaching love,
Love is asking to be loved.
Love is you,
You and me,
John a song writer poet and artist used each art form as a vehicle for his messages. Even if it was in the simple act of love. The whimsical yet poetic act of Love. What stood out in my mind was the simplicity of touch and how easy you can set such an imprint on a person, lasting as long as a life time. Touch is the most powerful mean you have of expressing your love. It is straightforward and unmistakable. As the saying goes "some things are better left unsaid." through touch true words are spoken. A sense we rely so heavily on and can cause so much emotion.

Each month I am hoping to spotlight Music and how it influences Art/Music. This time it was John Lennon and his song "Love" also partnering up with me is a Talented writer, poet, music lover Woosh. She has dedicated a Blog to bringing to light underground, undiscovered musical talent. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free.
